Pamela Hosein, Director/Chief Executive Officer of Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) awarded 2019 Empowered Woman of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the industry.

With over 30 years of professional experience in senior management leadership positions in the private security industry, Pamela has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Pamela has demonstrated success not only with ASSL but with every position she has ever held. She is highly skilled and qualified in strategic management and has championed quality and safety initiatives throughout her career. She is an accomplished leader in policy and strategy development with sound knowledge and extensive practice in corporate governance. She had developed complete management systems for Quality, Safety, Security, Procurement and Management and lead in development of policies and procedures for over 15 years. Her areas of expertise include, Financial Analysis, Operations Oversight, Risk Management and Stakeholder Analysis. Pamela received her Master of Business Administration for Lord Ashcroft International Business School, Angila Ruskin University, UK and received her Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from ASIS International. She is a Certified Disaster recovery Engineer and has formal training as a Quality Manager and ISO Lead Auditor (RABQSA).

Throughout her illustrious career Pamela has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2018 selected as Empowered Woman of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). For 2017 she was selected as Top Female Executive Director by IAOTP and Outstanding Professional of the Year by the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals. She currently serves the 3rd term as Chairman of ASIS International, Chapter 157, Trinidad and Tobago. She has also served as Director with the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Companies (ICoCA) Switzerland, where she extended her service to the Working Group on Policy Development. She is associated with volunteer community groups in Trinidad & Tobago and is founder of the Kids in School Support Program under ASIS Chairmanship.

Looking back, Pamela attributed her success to her training, her perseverance, mentors she has along the way, and her passion for what she does. For the future, she will continue to grow as a professional and wants to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way she can.
