ASSL Annual Awards Ceremony for 2012

In our continued drive to preserve our position as the number one Private Security Company in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean region, Amalgamated Security Services recognized our number one resource- our employees, by hosting our Annual Awards Ceremony. At Amalgamated Security Services we are dedicated to serving our human resource and highlighting their hard work and achievements through annual ceremonies such as this and continuous praise of deserving outstanding employees.

In this regard, the 2012 Award Ceremony was held on April 28th 2013 at Bishops Anstey College, Trincity. Long service awardees ten (10), fifteen (15), twenty (20) & twenty five (25) years were acknowledged. Additionally Merit Awards, Special Awards, and the Chairman’s Awards were given to recognize our employees’ commitment and dedication to the company.

The following employees displayed exemplary dedication to duty during the course of the year 2012 and as such they were honored with the following awards:

  • Employee of the year Anthony Castillo attached to North Division
  • Officer of the year Dankwa Figaro attached to North East Division
  • Driver of the year Maurice Mohammed
  • Division of the year was awarded to North Division

Merit awards were given in attendance, attire, beyond the call of duty, acts of bravery, crime prevention, customer service and honesty. Special awards were presented for outstanding performance, commitment and leadership. HSE excellence awards were given to persons who contributed significantly to the continuous improvement on HSE culture. Additionally the Ambulance Department; Central Monitoring Station; Critical Incident Unit; Alarms and Electronics Division; Prisoner Transport Division; Firearms and Courier Division and Sports and Cultural Club members were awarded and recognized for dedication and outstanding performance.
 
Persons who showed exemplary commitment, performance, achievements, dedication, commitment to business enhancement and beyond the call of duty were presented with the Chairman’s Award either in the category of special or golden.

The Chairman’s Platinum Award is the most prestigious award that a member of staff can be given. This award is usually given to recognize someone’s exceptional performance in a strategic initiative that pioneered advancement for the company. Two persons were awarded in this category, Mrs. Pamela Hosein, amongst others for achieving a STOW (Safe To Work) certification for the company and Mr. Christopher Chamely for his contributions to the success of our subsidiary in Barbados: best performing subsidiary and outstanding contribution to regional growth respectively.
