This highly anticipated event honored the dedication, loyalty, and outstanding contributions of team members from across the region.

In a powerful display of appreciation, 340 employees were recognized for their long-standing service to the company. These service awards celebrated career milestones from 10 years to an exceptional 35 years of continuous commitment to ASSL. The event stood as a reflection of the company’s deep-rooted culture of respect, perseverance, and mutual growth.

Each honoree received a personalized token of appreciation along with commemorative shares — a gesture underscoring ASSL’s value for employee legacy and partnership.

Recognizing Heroism and Excellence

Beyond longevity, the ceremony also shone a spotlight on those who have gone above and beyond in their roles. Merit Awards were presented to a select group of individuals for distinguished actions in:

• Employee, Officer, Supervisor and HSE of the Year

Chairman’s Address at ASSL Annual Employee Recognition Awards

Good morning, everyone.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this special occasion our Annual Employee Recognition Awards. This morning, we gather not simply to mark time, but to honour legacy, loyalty, and the extraordinary contributions of our long-serving team members.

From ten years to as many as thirty-five years of continuous, dedicated service you are the pillars of Amalgamated Security Services Limited. Your unwavering commitment has helped shape this company from its humble beginnings into a trusted regional institution, recognized for its standards, service, and integrity.

As the founder and chairman, I am both proud and deeply humbled. When ASSL began, it was founded on a vision to offer security services defined by professionalism, reliability, and excellence. But vision alone is not enough. It takes people people like you to bring that vision to life. And you have done that, year after year, with discipline, sacrifice, and heart.

You stood firm through the early challenges. You adapted through growth and change. You didn’t just contribute you helped build. You are not only employees you are part of this institution’s living history.

ASSL is now a name that is respected throughout the Caribbean. Our services touch countless lives, our standards influence industries, and our operations continue to expand. But none of this could have been achieved without the steadfast commitment of those we honour today.

To each of you receiving recognition this morning, I offer my deepest thanks. You remind us that greatness is not achieved in grand gestures alone, but in consistent, dependable effort over time. You have led by example, inspired those around you, and earned the respect of an entire organization.

On Saturday, April 19, Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) celebrated the Easter holiday in the most joyful way—by treating our employees and their families to a fun-filled day at Five Islands Water & Amusement Park.

The event was a vibrant gathering, with over 1,100 employees and their loved ones coming together for a day packed with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. From thrilling rides to waterpark excitement, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the most heartwarming sights of the day was the joy on the children’s faces—full of smiles, laughter, and pure excitement. Their happiness lit up the entire park and added a special energy to the day.

Executive Chairman’s Speech for the Retirees’ Luncheon March 2025

Good afternoon, everyone,

It is with immense gratitude and deep appreciation that I stand before you today as we gather to honour and celebrate a group of remarkable individuals—our retirees. This luncheon is a moment to reflect on your years of dedication, service, and unwavering commitment to Amalgamated Security Services Limited.

Retirement marks the closing of one chapter, but it is by no means the end of your story. Rather, it is a testament to the legacy you have built through hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance. The time and energy you have invested over the years have not only strengthened this company but have also laid the foundation for those who will follow in your footsteps. Your contributions have made a lasting impact, shaping the future for the next generation and creating opportunities where none existed before.

Each of you has played an integral role in the success of ASSL, and for that, we are truly grateful. Some of you will continue to remain connected to the company in various capacities, while others will embrace a well-earned period of rest and new beginnings. Regardless of the path you choose, your influence and dedication will always be remembered.

As we reflect on the past, we must also acknowledge the grace and protection that God has provided us throughout our journey. It is through His blessings that we have been able to serve, grow, and contribute meaningfully to this organization and to our families. We can take comfort in knowing that we have done our part and have fulfilled our responsibilities with honor.

In this room, we celebrate milestones of service and achievements across various tiers of the organization. While every individual’s contribution is commendable, I want to take a moment to recognize those whose paths have crossed mine in a particularly impactful way. One such individual is Mr. Moore, the manager for Tobago, who has devoted his entire career to service in that region. Many of you may not have had the opportunity to work alongside him, but his unwavering commitment and care for his officers have left a lasting mark on our company.
