Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL), through the Anthony Joseph Foundation, has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to supporting employees and their families by awarding educational grants to fifty-nine (59) children who successfully transitioned from the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) into secondary school.
The Anthony Joseph Foundation, established in 2016 by Dr. Michael Aboud, Executive Chairman of ASSL, honours the legacy of the late Cpl. Anthony Joseph.
Cpl. Joseph, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty in December 2015, dedicated over 30 years of exemplary service to the company, is remembered for his loyalty, integrity, and commitment through this foundation.
In 2025, the Foundation disbursed a total of TTD $29,500 to parents and guardians of this year’s recipients. Each student received financial support as they embark on a new chapter in their academic journey.
Dr. Aboud reaffirmed the company’s mission, stating:
“At ASSL, we understand the importance of not only protecting communities but also investing in the next generation. These grants reflect our pride in our employees and our belief that education is the foundation for a brighter future.”
For over four decades, ASSL has been the Caribbean’s premier security organization, known for excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Speech by Dr. Michael Aboud 2025 AJF
Chairman & Founder, Amalgamated Security Services Limited
Good morning everyone,
Today is a day of pride, joy, and remembrance. We gather here to celebrate the success of our young graduates who have worked hard, stayed disciplined, and earned their place in secondary school. This achievement is no small step. It is the foundation of the journey that lies ahead, and each of you should feel proud of what you have accomplished.
This grant you receive is not just financial support. It carries with it the spirit of one of our own Anthony Joseph. Anthony was a man of duty, a man who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. He believed in education, in using every opportunity to grow, to learn, and to build a better future. It is in his memory, through the Anthony Joseph Foundation, that we honour his devotion, his courage, and his dreams by investing in yours.
To you, our graduates, my message is simple: keep pushing forward. Secondary school will open up new opportunities, but it will also test your strength. Work hard. Respect the guidance of your parents and guardians. Do not be distracted by those around you who may take the easy road. Stay focused on your mission and hold fast to your faith.
Education is your passport to the future. Whether you become leaders in business, protectors of our society, inventors, or creators, remember that discipline and sacrifice are the cornerstones of success. One day, it will be you who carries the torch forward leading, protecting, and inspiring the next generation.
So, to each of you, I say congratulations. Walk proudly into this next chapter. Remember Anthony Joseph’s sacrifice. Remember that your future is yours to build. And remember that we believe in you.
May God bless you all, and may He guide your steps as you rise to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Thank you.
